Terms and Conditions (User Agreement) for Jain Sattva

Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “User Agreement”) carefully before using the Jain Sattva mobile application and related services operated by Jain Sattva (“us”, “we”, or “our”).

By accessing or using the Jain Sattva app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of the application.

1. Purpose of the Application

Jain Sattva is a devotional, educational, and lifestyle platform offering:

  • Authentic Jain scriptures, Stuti, Stotra, Pooja, Chalisa, Aarti, Bhajan, Pravachan, Swadhyay, and 365 daily Jain Sandesh messages.
  • Jain Panchang, Tithi Darpan, and Tirthankar Kalyanak calendar information.
  • Personal spiritual practice tools including a digital 108-bead Jaap Mala counter, Niyam/Sankalp tracker, bookmarks, and personal Swadhyay notes.
  • Access to the official Jain Sattva artisanal store (https://shop.jainsattva.com).

2. User Accounts and Security

  1. Account Creation: You may use most reading and devotional features as a guest, or create an account using Google Sign-In or Email/Mobile & Password to save and sync your Profile, Jaap Mala history, Niyam targets, Bookmarks, and Notes.
  2. Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate and complete information when updating your profile (Name, Email, Mobile Number, Address).
  3. Account Responsibility: You are responsible for safeguarding the password or credentials used to access your account.
  4. Account Termination & Deletion: You may delete your account and all associated data at any time using the in-app “Delete Account & Data” option in the Profile section or by contacting us at dhavaljainmaiet@gmail.com.

3. Spiritual & Calendar Content Disclaimer

While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of Jain Sutras, Mantras, Stotras, Tithi calculations, Panchang details, and Tirthankar Kalyanak dates, regional traditions (such as Digambar and Shwetambar panchang variations or local sunrise timings) may vary slightly. Users are encouraged to consult their local Jain Sangh or Panchang for specific ritual timings.

4. Artisanal Store & E-Commerce Purchases

  1. The Jain Sattva app includes an integrated view and links to our official store (https://shop.jainsattva.com) and official WhatsApp ordering channel.
  2. Any purchases of physical products (idols, pooja items, books, artisanal goods) made through shop.jainsattva.com are governed by the shipping, return, and refund policies displayed on https://shop.jainsattva.com.

5. Advertisements (Google AdMob)

To keep the Jain Sattva app free for all spiritual seekers, the app may display third-party advertisements powered by Google AdMob. By using the app, you acknowledge that such advertisements may be displayed in designated non-intrusive areas of the application.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All original app designs, logos, curated compilations, branding, and store catalogs associated with Jain Sattva are the property of Jain Sattva. Traditional Jain scriptures, ancient sutras, and public-domain devotional compositions belong to the sacred heritage of Jain Dharma and are shared strictly for spiritual education and devotion (Swadhyay and Jinbhakti).

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Attempt unauthorized access to the app’s administrative panel or cloud database.
  • Misuse, scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the app’s servers or content delivery.
  • Use the app for any unlawful, defamatory, or disrespectful activity against religious sentiments.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Jain Sattva app is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind. Jain Sattva shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use or inability to use the application.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Continued use of the application after any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
